Chef Marwan Abidaoud

Chef Marwan comes with over 25+ years of experience as Executive/Head Chef in various multi-national foodservice channels (hotels, airlines, catering) in the Middle East region after completing his hospitality management education. His last role before joining Flora Food Group was Corporate Executive Chef with Byblos Hospitality, responsible for overseeing all culinary functions & managing their various hotels and restaurants across the United Arab Emirates.

Chef Marwan has been a member of the start-up team for the Flora Food Grou Gulf and North Africa team and has been instrumental in helping build a portfolio for the food service channel in the region. He provides culinary guidance to the team whilst providing support to the sales & the distributor team. He foresees various culinary trends & helps research ideas that are relevant to business. He has a passion for food & puts in a lot of care, attention, and enthusiasm into his everyday role.

Outside of cooking his favorite hobby is fishing. He loves to visit showrooms of kitchens equipment and cutlery/crockery to upgrade himself with the newest products and technology.
