Creamy Greek Spread

Make a lovely spread with a taste of summer and Greece. Fill in a baguette or other bread. Along with crunchy vegetables, it becomes a favourite. Perfect as a lunch sandwich out or to take on a picnic. Also suitable as a cream for a Greek salad..

  • 400 g Violife Creamy
  • 200 g Violife Greek White, crumbled
  • 2 chopped garlic
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 2 tsp white vinegar
  • 2 tbsp water
  • salt and pepper
Condiments
  • 10 baguettes 130 g per pc, 26 cm
  • 150 g rinsed rocket salad
  • 400 g sliced tomato (30 slices)
  • 350 g sliced green pepper (20 slices)
  • 50 g pitted black olive
  • 20 g thinly sliced fresh jalapeños
  • salt and black pepper
  1. Whisk together the Creamy Original with Greek White, garlic, oregano, vinegar and water, season with salt and pepper. Place in piping bag or bowl. Let stand in a cold place.
  2. Cut the baguettes lengthwise and spread wide on both the lid and the bottom. Fill with rocket salad, tomato and pepper slice, black olives and jalapeño. Season with salt and pepper. Assemble and serve.
